” her rebirth was stunning,

She lifted herself up

from the depths of despair

grasped her dreams,

embedded them in her heart,

and walked forward into

a future that only her will

and vision could control “

Transformation- to change in form, appearance or structure; metamorphose.

I have been spending a lot of time lately reading, journaling, meditation & reflecting. Stillness is not something I am naturally good at, nor is it something I want to do. So much of my life is spent in motion-movement, whether its yoga or just my day-to-day activities. Movement is great, beautiful & I need it! Lately though, I am craving stillness. I have had several signs come my way to look inward, check in with my intuition, find stillness & just take it easy.  It’s nice to shift gears & focus a little deeper inward. I practice yoga as a form of moving meditation, a way to heal through movement. Sometimes it’s nice to sit down. shut up. and look within.

In my time spent reflecting, I keep coming back to

the word (transform)

and what it means

the word (strala)

and what it means

transform- to change in form, appearance, or structure; metamorphose

strala – the Swedish word for ‘radiates light’

Through the practice of strala yoga
I have transformed. By no means does this mean I am evolved or enlightened or a finished product…but I have come from one page in my chapter to the next & several times over.
I have found a freedom I never new. Tapping into my creativity & intuition. Slowly but surely, overall becoming healthier, radiant, & peaceful.

In the past, I have suffered from anxiety, depression, I have struggled with substance abuse, endometriosis & PTSD…I have felt lower than low, lacking in confidence, will power & just plain lost.

In my greatest times of need yoga has always appeared to me, but nothing has ever clicked with me the way that strala yoga has. The philosophy behind strala yoga is to ignite freedom, channel intuition, & build radiant health & happiness.

I have become just that.

in tune.

The [me] 6-7 years ago

The [me] today

we are one in the same

but two different people

By saying I have [transformed] does not mean to say I am a perfect being, flawless & better than you in any way.

I am a better me though, better than I was yesterday, a month ago, a year ago…
Every day I am

& transforming

Metamorphosis – a change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one, by natural or supernatural means.

Transformation. Change. Metamorphosis

constant themes in my life. The world has ended and began again for me time & time again. & I am sure many of you reading this can relate.

I believe fully in the transformative power of yoga

“You will arise naturally out of you”

Sometimes, the greatest transformations are simply coming back to you;
Discovering who you really are
What you really want
& living your authentic path.
