Sarah Werkin | Strala Yoga Mover & Guide

a yoga mover of 10 years, a yoga teacher of 4 years, & as of June 2017,  a strala yoga guide .  Currently, I reside in Denver, CO

I believe in the transformative power of yoga;
Like most of us, I have had many ups & downs in my life. In the past, I have chosen to handle these [downs] in various ways healthy & unhealthy ways alike. I spent a lot of time suffering, anxious, depressed & lost. Somehow, even in my lowest moment I have managed to find my way back to yoga.  Several times in my life I have found yoga, and lost yoga… & found it again. A cycle of trying to find purpose and heal, & somehow allowing myself to be set back & disconnected.  It wasn’t until I discovered the movement system of strala yoga, where everything fell into place.  I was finally able to commit to my healing- and stay there.

 strala yoga reached me at a point in my life where I felt unreachable; At the time, I was depressed & out of control, struggling with PTSD & anxiety – generally living an unhealthy lifestyle.  Through this movement practice I have found freedom, mental peace & clarity, confidence, health, strength &  so much more

Most importantly, throughout this journey, I have found my self.
